Pitchcare Essential Management Skills Course

The course is delivered by trainer and careers counsellor Frank Newberry. Frank, a regular contributor to the Pitchcare magazine, has trained groundsmen and greenkeepers for more than 20 years and the course is aimed at helping those in a supervisory or management position to acquire a range of vital management skills and put them into practice effectively.

Unlike generic management training, Pitchcare’s course content has been developed specifically to suit groundsmen and greenkeepers, which is essential if delegates are to successfully implement their new skills in the workplace.

An outline of the course programme is available here. Three months separate the two days so delegates have the opportunity to implement new techniques and then feed their experiences back to the group.

Five CPD Credits*, plus an attendance certificate, are awarded to delegates who complete the course. Delegates can also opt to attend an additional Day 3 Health & Safety workshop at a later date.

The cost for two full days of quality training plus comprehensive workbooks, lunch and all refreshments will be £375+VAT.

Here’s some of the feedback we received from delegates on previous courses:
